If you haven't seen a Kakapo (and its pretty fair to say, you won't have...), now is your chance. Sirocco is a hand-reared, flightless, nocturnal parrot and one of only 125 birds left of his species. He is currently on show at Maungatautari Ecological Island and is a must see.
