Feels like Spring

Every Spring the trees along Shakespeare Street in Cambridge blossom and are absolutely gorgeous, and every year I think I'll take photos but I never quite manage to do it before they blossoms fall.  However, this year I finally did and I got a lovely one of my daughter sitting in a tree.

Here is my Spring layout for Artfull Crafts September theme.  The paper is Grace Taylor (which I notice the 30 page sheet pads are on special now at the Warehouse for $6.  Bargin!).  The title is cut using Cricut cartridge 'Stretch your Imagination'.

Ahoy, matey

I love making pirate cards.  They seem to be very popular for boy's birthdays and these pirates cut using Cricut cartridge ' Everyday Paper Dolls' are fun to make.

Here's my submission for the Pirate challenge at Fantabulous Cricut Challenge.

Ok, so I know we're in Spring but Cooking with Cricut is having an Autumn Colours Challenge.

In my layout my son was having such a good time playing in the leaves and hiding behind trees while out our dog walk.  I also took lots of photo's of Autumn trees in all their splendor and made photo tiles.  The tree was cut using 'Graphically Speaking' and the leaves were from 'Wild card'.  I threaded fibre at the top of my layout because I loved the colours.

Kitty cat

I found my daughter crawling through the cat door the other day.  She thought she was pretty clever pretending to be a kitty cat.  I thought it was pretty funny and wanted to do a layout about it.

I have used Kaisercraft paper and Cricut cartridges 'Hello Kitty Font' for the cat and 'Lyrical Letters' for the font.

So I used the September Challenge sketch from Better Scrapbooking.  Check out the other challenges here.
